Great lunches spot, highly recommended

MBCo use to be one of my favourite spots to have lunch, but it seems like it lost its soul.

Best omelettes in town. Honestly worth the detour for breakfast.

Bad bad service from staff with poor attitude. Rude. They turn away people that sit at nearby tables with the pretext that the seating is reserved for their exclusive use. They seem to hate their job. Their location in the mall is good . Dommage. Can't appreciate the food when it's made and served by detestable people.

The pastries are good but some people who work there are very rude,sometimes I GO by and want to get a pastry but won't go in because of that.

Great food and fast service

Depressingly agressive manager or owner. The shop was empty, a guy cleaning up, it basically seemed closed but I asked away. A bald guy tells me that's not a question one should ask and shouts me off. One of the biggest no-go's i've seen in a while.

Pretty good stuff but not cheap and most important, attendants are really not friendly.

Was there during the jazz festival, customer service is horrible one of the staff members confronted me face to face after i told him he lost a client for being rude to me and would file a complaint, once I told him I would call the police he went berserk, I spoke to security and the security supervisor, he acknowledged the staff member is aggressive and told me to let it go and write a review about my experience at this boulangerie, avoid this place this guy is a loose cannon never experienced customer service like this in my life, this guy should be fired, if I had read the reviews while I was still at complete desjardins I would have definitely called the police, this guy is dangerously aggressive, be careful if you go here. STAY AWAY

Good. A little on the expensive side. Coffee needs much improvement and if u look behind the counters in the back, you will notice that they don't keep things clean. If you charge so much, the place should look spotless. I do question the hygeine because of this.

I ordered cafe mocha and chocolate almond croissant. Delicious.

My go to in the morning for an americano topped with steamed milk. Love Gigi and Imad!

The pastries taste as good as they look! I got the almond croissant, it's very different than the ones I've tried before because the jelly is on the outside rather than the inside!

Food looks great. Tastes great but these guys don't smile and looks like we are bothering them! Awful service.**UPDATE** back after one year. Same great food same bad service. This place reminds me of the Seinfeld Soup Cook episode. Food is worth it! Guys would it be too much to ask for a small smile? Lol.

Big place and fairly clean. However didn't find the butter dispenser and would've been better if they had those pop machines where you get to choose over 20+ choices.

Crazy rude staff, also told the space was private after having paid to eat there and was sitting at another table to wait for other family member. Montreal is known for rude wait staff but the food quality did not justify the rudeness.

Good option for a quick breakfast and morning start, specially if you are tourist and located near Place des Arts. The bread & coffee are really good and they have great selection. The price is a little expensive and we agree with some comments and reviews, the staff are not that happy working there, but anyway Montreal staff are usually like that, so we are used to it.

Delicious, fresh and beautiful food with competent and friendly service.

I had the worst service in my whole entire life. The person taking my order was extremely rude and condescending. He ended up insulting me and making fun of gay people.

They have the best pasties ever in Montreal. I eat here every time I'm in Montreal.

The almond croissant was too moist, almost sticky. But their plain croissants were so good. We also asked for something off their menu, and they were kind enough to serve us.

Overcharged for a coffee the cashier didn't know how to make. Got ripped off not only on the price but on the latte she handed me instead of a "CORTADO". Way too expensive for what it is (patisserie quality) I wish I have read all the comments before going :/

Great presentation. Located in the mall, complexe deajardins, right below the hotel, Hilton, I was staying in. Tasted delicious.

Food is upscale compared to other outlets in the food court but the service is HORRIBLE.After my 10th visit (because the food was good), I can say that all the employees were a combination of rude, pretentious, disrespectful or all of the above. They were even making fun of customers in front of them.This place is recommended if food is the only consideration. Otherwise, it is a pass.

Pastries are good although the almond muffin has an overwhelming amount of almond flavour and after a few bites you have to stop eating it. Cashier was more interested to talk with someone else than to serve clients and he was annoyed when I asked politely if I could pay

Never had such weak coffee! Expensive brown water, $3!!! Tourist trap.

Sandwiches were great, however service was not up to par.

Great food and service, the owner and his wife are friendly and welcoming they are there mainly during office hours and early morning After seeing some other the reviews I will definitely mention to them next time I go because it does not seem like the place at all and they surely don't know there is a rude bald employee. Don't cross this place off your list, must tries include chocolate torsade with a latte and chicken pita with aioli sauce.

Food is incredible, the duck sandwich is amazing! Service isn't the nicest but aren't particularly rude either.

I absolutely love this place ♡. I live in the US and make the detour to stop every year when I come down for the F1 race. They make traditional French pastries just like the ones in Europe, amazing and decadent sandwiches to go, but the best is to sit and enjoy one of their omelets. All fresh ingredients, with fresh-cut herbs, cheeses, OMG! To die for !!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I was going to sit and eat something that I bought at another restaurant in the sitting area in front of the boulangerie, and a staff member with a very nasty attitude asked me to leave, because it is "private". Businesses often fail because of these attitudes. I had no idea it was "private", did not even say anything and left. I feel, in general, Montreal is not a rude city like others on the continent, so this should not happen.

Grilled cheese, good. Awesome mayo. I liked the opera cake. I don't care if people smile or not if they make a good job.

HORRIBLE experience, I stopped by yesterday with 2 friends, since one of the staff (a bald guy) was helping a client, we were waiting, I decided to take a picture to share it online and advertise the place while waiting, then the same staff member started to yell at my friends and I, to stop taking pictures and he insulted us. I calmly explain to him that we were about to buy something but he wouldn't stop screaming at me. We were so shocked that we left and I never had such a rude experience in my whole life. No matter how bad your day is, nothing justify this type of attitude, I did not make a complain because I like to think that all the people working there aren't like this staff, his attitude was problematic, scary and rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

We visited the shop yesterday and a staff member screamed at my teenaged son for just sitting at a table while waiting for me. I stood in line for 15 minutes, but probably our son was supposed to stand as well because, as I was told, that was a "private space". Good luck keeping it private! Definitely would not buy anything from this store ever again.

Boulangerie is their specialty, everything you try is delicious. Breakfast (omelets) nothing special.

I stopped by here about 3 times when visiting Montreal. Mostly got tea and pastries. Good tea, very good pastries, everyone was very polite. I'm actually pretty surprised by the negative reviews here, we were pretty happy with this place.
